ENERGY MOVEMENT
Energy
is present in all forms of matter. It is present in electricity,
gravity, body actions, our thoughts, breathing, nerve currents,
and in the air. This energy is influenced by body position, fasting,
concentration, chanting, and visualization. Energy is always moving.
Oran system currents shift from one system to another. Physical
movement occurs by breathing, heart beating, bowels moving, blood
flowing and by friction as our body moves through air. The air we
breathe and the food we eat nurture the energy that we receive at
birth. Magnetic electrical impulses in our nervous system influence
this energy movement. We also get energy from the sun, breathing
oxygen, vibrations from the ears, sight, and the nose. Our chakras
and acupuncture points serve as antennas.
Solid
particles of the world are affected by nature's movements. Temperature
changes, day turning to night, spring turning to summer, and other
outside factors influence vibrations and energy movement through
power spots in the earth, over underground streams and rivers and
on hilltops. Gravitational pull, thunderstorms, the moon and lack
of sunshine can alter energy movement.
WE
ALL FEEL VIBRATIONS FROM OTHERS. When there is a subtle vibration
we consider it an aura. When you meet someone you immediately connect
with their energy or you disconnect and ignore them.. You somehow
like someone or you dislike someone without knowing anything about
them. This same body energy connects us with all of nature and with
our inner circulating body energy. There are vibrational forces
outside and inside the body that make electrical currents. This
allows us to be our own self sufficient world.
Body
tissues have different densities. The denser the tissue the stronger
the energy currents. Energy in bones, for example, last after death
often for centuries. The strongest body energy current passes through
the head, spine, pelvis, and legs. We are grounded to the earth by
our feet.
There
are three layers of energy. The deepest passes through the bone
marrow and the bones. The middles layer passes through organs, blood,
nerves, and muscles. And last, the superficial layer of energy is
under the skin and connects us with the middle layer. It insulates
us from the weather and outside vibrations.
Harmonious
vibrations from the outside world help cleanse our bodies and our
inner energy systems. We receive someone else's thoughts, their
physical contacts, their smiles, their pleasant hellos, and we respond
positively. We are connected. and bond. We become happier when we
resonate with the vibrations of others. However when we receive
negative vibrations from someone, our body's high energy transformer
creates mayhem to our body's energy field.

EASTERN
PHILOSOPY AND CHAKRAS
There
are seven energy centers in the spine. They are called CHAKRAS.
The word means wheel in Sanokrit. These centers correspond with
the curves of the spine. All the nerves in the body come from the
brain and spine. This energy flows down the spine like a river.
At the curves in the spine lies the most intense body energy.
The
first chakra is the COCCYX, the curve of the tail bone. Because
of the increased angle and decrease in bone density, the chakra
lets the energy spray out through the pelvis, legs and earth ( like
a garden hose from the sprinkler head). The center of gravity in
the body is two inches in front of the second sacral bone.
The
second chakra is the SACRUM. It is most dense energy center
in the body, comprising 5 segments of sacrum into one. Its force
is in sexual power.
The
third chakra is in the LUMBAR VERTEBRAE. The middle of this
curve is the belly button (our original source of energy connection
with our mothers). In this chakra resides personal power.
Chakra
four is the long curve of the throrax and HEART. Energy here
can spred out more than the other 3 chakras. The pull of the thorax
in breathing lets the energy here to spread out.
The
fifth chakra of energy is in the THROAT, the neck and and
its five cervical vertebrae. This is a very mobile energy center
and provides personal creativity.
At
the back of theskull is chakra six, the THIRD EYE chakra.
. It allows energy to expand to the third eye between the eyebrows.
This energy provides intuition.
The
CROWN is the seventh chakra at the top of the skull. Currents
from the heavens make contact with the body.

COLOR
HEALING
Color is living
energy. It is a property of light. Light is electromagnetic energy
produced by the sun in different wavelengths. As the light is absorbed
and reflected we end up with different colors. Everything in nature
no matter how common is full of color and interesting patterns.
We can reclaim creativity if we break up our daily routine and focus
on the power of color. We are our own energy systems.
Vibration forms
everything in life. The universe is only energy in vibration. Vibration
exists in objects and in people and in our atmosphere. Our bodies
have energy fields (called charkas). All of our organs are comprised
of vibrating atoms. All of us have our own unique energy system
and our organs have different vibrational patterns. We all emit
color.
When illness
occurs, our energy systems are out of balance. Acupuncture can restore
the normal vibration pattern to our organs. Once balance is restored,
the organs can rid themselves of toxins and restore proper energy
flow. Besides acupuncture, color can restore this balance. Color
can help heal you physically and emotionally. We all react to colors
differently. Some colors energizer others and us depress us. We
should not ignore color.
Light
has different wavelengths that we can see. Light penetrates everything,
even our bodies. Light makes things grow. Without light things die.
Light also emits wavelengths that we cannot see (ultraviolet). Just
because you cannot see them does not mean they do not exist. The
longest wavelength and lowest frequency is red; violet has the shortest
wavelength and highest frequency. These wavelengths contain radiation,
which is energy. Energy is Qi and life. All colors put out energy
(vibrations), except black. We radiate colors in our skin, hair,
lips, and personalities. Colors also have a positive and negative
effect on how others perceive us.
CHAKRAS
Our vibrations
are governed by 7 energy centers called charkas. These energy centers
mediate all the energy entering and leaving the body. Each center
has a color that harmonizes with that center's frequency. The word
chakra means wheel. The circles of light spin like a tornado or
whirlpool. It links the subtle energy fields around the body to
the activities of the body.
Electromagnetic
fields are highest where the charkas are present.(See section on
energy movement.) A congested and under active chakra prevents energy
flow to that area and the corresponding organs. A problem in the
area of the chakra signifies an imbalance, either under active or
overactive. The aim of acupuncture is to correct this imbalance.
It can also be corrected by using the proper color. Below are the
primary colors for the seven charkas.
CHAKRAS
AND COLORS
Visible light
has seven colors. Each color has its own specific frequency that
corresponds to one of the body's 7 main energy centers called charkas.
The set of frequencies related to musical notes is an example how
colors works. If you place two properly tuned guitars in the same
room and pluck the A stri9g on one guitar, the A string on the second
guitar will also ring. This is because the sound frequency of the
A note traveled across the room causing the resonant frequency of
the A string on the second guitar to sound. Likewise, the body's
organs have their own resonant frequencies related to the charkas.
Hence, we can "tune " our bodies for optimal wellness
through color therapy by exposing our Chakras to the specific color
needed. This is exactly what acupuncture does by resonating with
the organs vibrations.
RED is
a stimulating color. It energizes the first chakra (coccyx). It
warms us and awakens us physically and energizes our blood. It is
a good color to wear when we have colds and poor circulation. Too
much red can over stimulate and make some illnesses worse. High
blood pressure is an indicator of too much red energy in the body.
It is a color for war, prosperity, fire, and rising sun. Spiritually
it is the root color of fire and connects us to our physical self.
ORANGE is the color of joy and wisdom. It affects the second
chakra (sacral). It is a good color for illnesses of the colon and
digestion. Spiritually it is the color of joy. It connects us to
our emotional self.
YELLOW is the solar plexus chakra. It also helps in digestive
problems and also depression. Spiritually it is the color of wisdom
and connects us to our mental self.
GREEN affects the heart chakra. It has a claming effect and
balances the autonomic nervous system. It is a good color for cardiac
conditions, high blood pressure and ulcers. Since green stimulates
growth, it should be avoided in cancers and other tumors. Spiritually
it is the color of love and connects us to perfect love.
BLUE is the color for the throat chakra. It is a good color
in respiratory illness or throat infections. Blue is cooling to
our system and hence is a good color to counteract hypertension.
Spiritually it is the color of health and connects us to holistic
thought.
INDIGO is the color for healing of the brow chakra. It is
a good color for sinusitis, immunity problems, and all face problems.
Too much of this color can cause depression. Spiritually it is the
color of intuition and connects us to our unconscious self.
VIOLET is the color of the crown chakra. It is cleansing,
strengthening, and awakening. It affects the skeletal system of
the body. It is a good color for improving immunity, cancerous conditions,
and arthritis. It also purifies the system and is an excellent color
for headaches. Spiritually it is the color of faith and connects
us to our spiritual self.
HEALING
WITH COLORS
1. BALANCING.
Get 7 pieces of cloth with the above colors. Use violet for the
crown chakra. Place these pieces of cloth over your body at the
appropriate chakra. Relax, and breathe deeply for 4 minutes. The
body will absorb these colors into their charkas and balance the
vibrational patterns in your body.
2. BREATHING. You will be planning on having energy pass
through the governing vessel and the conception vessel. The governing
vessel begins at the perineum (just anterior to the rectum and posterior
to the sex organs), goes up the spine, through the brain and along
the front of the body and ends at roof of the mouth. The conception
vessel also begins at the perineum but runs up the front of the
body and ends at the tip of the tongue. With deep breathing, you
can breathe air into different parts of the body. This air is transformed
then into different frequencies of energy.
Take deep breaths slowly though your nostrils and exhale through
the mouth. Inhale and exhale to the count of 5. Place the tip of
the tongue to the roof of the mouth during breathing. (This connects
the two energy systems of the body, front and back.) See and feel
the air coming in at a certain color. This exercise can be done
for 10 minutes in the morning.
3. PROJECTING COLOR. Candles can be used. Use one of the
seven basic colors that you feel needs stimulating. Water can be
infused with the color by placing water in colored jars and exposing
the water for 3 hours to sunlight. The next day drink the water.
Water can be place in a glass and colored paper can be placed over
it and have it exposed to the sunlight for 3 hours. Clothing can
be used of the color needed to stimulate the chakra. Wear a purple
hat if you have a headache. Wear a blue shawl if you have a cough.
Wear a green shirt if you have ulcers or a heart condition. Wear
red underwear for an under active sex drive or rectal problems.
Orange underwear for prostate problems or lower back problems.
CHOOSING
COLORS
Identify your
colors that get the strongest reaction form you. Some colors do
nothing for you. If you are an intense outgoing person you probably
love red and should cool your body by choosing cooling colors as
blue and green. If you are indecisive or flighty you probably should
think of red or earthy colors. If you are rigid and down to earth
and wear earthy colors, think of wearing sky colors of blue and
green.
Each color has
its own wavelength. Our bodies emit energies that vary with our
different emotions. You may have your favorite colors that make
you feel good. When you are in a bad mood, you might be wise to
change to another color that will restore your mood. When angry
avoid red (even if it is your favorite color). Better to choose
blues, greens, or grays that will calm you. When you are feeling
down, red might be your best choice in colors.
Your organs
all resonate at different frequencies as a radio. Some of us may
be set at 97 on the radio dial and others at 104. It is important
to resonate at the frequencies your body dictates. Acupuncture balances
the yin and yang of the body organs and thus restores your organ
systems to normal function. Using proper colors can help maintain
that balance.

ENERGY
BLOCKS result when areas of the body become inflammed or congested. When
our teeth chatter or our legs go into spasm, there is congestion.
Acupuncture treatment, yoga, or meditation ma;y remove these blocks.
With aging, the energy spiraling up and down the spine gets stuck
at a certain level. At birth we are stuck at Chakra 1 and need survival
skills. In our teenage years we are stuck at Chakra 2 with sexuality.
In our early twenties we are stuck at Chakra 3 and need power and
competitiveness. In our late twenties when we get married and have
children our energy revolves around Chakra 4 and we develop concern
for others. Between 30 and 40, we revolve around Chakra 5 and we
develop maturity, wisdom, and creativity (the silicone kids). In
our late fifties we reach Chakra 6 and become more religious and
contemplate the thought of death. In our mid 60's we reach the crown
chakra 7 and are at the peak of spirituality.
TODAY'S
HIGH TECH WORLD has resulted in increase vibrational fields
that go through our subtle body. Our cell phones, computers, electric
and magnetic fields all disturb our body vibrations. Unfortunately
because we are so busy,we are away from natures rhythms from the
outdoors, parks, trees, and rivers that could balance and neutralize
these high energy vibrations..
We
cant't see thoughts, feelings and energy. We must just experience
it. We are born with inate abilities to perceive subtle energy by
knowing (intuitively), seeing (visionary) forseeing(prophetic) and
feeling (sensitive). You can feel energy as the heat on the oven.
(The hands perceive the heat). Healers can feel body resistance
up to 8 inches from the body. You sense the energy in others and
feel connected. What feels good about someone leads to a positive
energy field. Interestingly, we must disconnect ourselves from someone's
energy field from time to time or accomodation results and feelings
are lost. Your energy field or your partner's energy field may be
drained by one another. . Absence makes the heart grow fonder and
one didn't marry one's spouse for daily lunch.
Daily
stresses can disturb the subtle body energies. These abnormal currents
can be physical, emotional ,psychic, or chemical. Such currents
are not absorbed by the body tissue but disrupt the subtle energy
balance and leave irritable pockets of energy that disrupt body
function. One may need to increase ones vibrational energy by physical
exercise to create a stronger clearer energy field. Eating processed
junk food alters and fails to supply the vibratonal energy need
by the body.

There
are two paradoxical LAWS OF NATURE
1. Everything is in a state of change.
2.
Law of inertia (Things do not change unless acted upon by an outside
force.)
Everyone
responds differntely from energy stimulation with acupuncture.
When the meridian channels are balanced we may see the color of
the face turn orange color, the breathing becomes slower, the forehead
and eyes may show some reaction, the voice will be louder and, smoother.
Watch a basketball coach under stress rub his hand over his forehead,
rub his eyes, ears or nose, in an attempt to balance his energy
field. As balance occurs one notices an angelic facial expression.
Enter a room and feel your energy connect or clash with the room's
atmosphere. A tense business meeting and the room becomes jumpy
and dense. People at the meeting line up as magnetic pulls, drawing
themselves together depending on their viewpoints. . Knowing the
pathways help to understand the stimulus seen and the response that
results from acupuncture.
As
energy depletes there is a lack of oxygen; one notes paleness, cold
sweat, shallow breathing, a stuffy nose, and a soft voice; the head
rolls and arms dangle. Treatment with acupuncture makes the vibrational
fields more dense and the obstruction of energy becomes cleared.

DEVELOP
A HEALING ATTITUDE when you become ill. . Eliminate the words
that lower your self esteem :cannot, will not, should, but, and
try should not be part of your vocabulary. Don't link symptoms with
growing old. Creatre a positive mental image and positive ideas
in your head. Ideas become self fulfilled prophecies. "I am
getting better each day."
Remember
healing is a process not a result. Once your chest pain is gone,
the problem may still exist. Taking medications for every symptom
can block nature's mechanisms to keep us well. Refuse to accept
certain conditions as life long problems that require ongoing medications
forever (unlike what many western physicians try to tell you)..
Every symptom is not an illness and every change in our body function
is not sickness. Coughing, diarrhea, fever and vomiting may be the
body's attempt to rid toxins and bacteria from the body and is the
body's way to rid itself of disease.
Getting
well is a process, not a quick fix and takes time. Being sick
does not happen suddenly. We have a inflammed throat long before
we have a fever and a sore throat. We heal from the inside out. You
know you are healing when the pain comes less often, is less severe
and lasts a shorter time. Be patient. Nature does the healing. Antibiotics
lower the bacterial count so the body can fight off the remaining
bacteria. Acupuncture reaises the resistance and the need for antibiotics
diminuishes.

CHANGES
IN THE STRESS LEVELS make it difficult for the body to stabilize
its energy (jet lag, death of a member of the family). When stressful
events are over and the pressure is oof, thats the time you may
become sick. This abrupt change makes you more vulnerable to an
accident. Acupuncture helps reestablish balance and prevent such
illnesses.
CHOOSING
YOUR DOCTOR is important. Your doctor should show love, joy,
compassion and impart the view that nothing is hopeless nor impossible.
If not, seek another doctor.
